How did MR. Beast become a King of YouTube?

he spends millions of dollars every month on the YouTube videos that you   might think are just regular amateur videos that went viral overnight   well jimmy aka Mr. beast is a person you need to know today in 2021 and i will talk about his   insane work ethic his approach to making ever better content and how   you whether you're an artist a professional in office job a student entrepreneur can learn a   lot from him and his success well welcome back to Tohir T channel my name is Tohir and let's do this on this channel i primarily talk about people places and tech and if you're curious to learn   more about other inspirational people from all over the world and all different kind of   professions well after this video is done check out this playlist or one of the cards at the   end of the video jimmy is an amazing creator.

king of youtube

he's like many of other videos that i came across just   popped up one day in one of those trending tabs on YouTube and i saw him giving away cars and   this is what he's famous for he's famous for those stands where he gives away cars houses islands uh   shopping carts full of best buy items and just in general gives people cash for all sorts of random   things that they would do my personal favorite is the one time when he locked in a suitcase full of   cash in the huge ice block and well on one side you might think that this is just your regular   staged or maybe even faked content but these videos are the work of art because there's so   much work preparation and analytical thought put into every single item that they do on screen   or off screen that i truly find it inspirational for any kind of profession that you could be   in while watching this video so if you don't believe me and the level of involvement that jimmy   has and the depth to which he goes to improve those videos well hear it from the man himself   outside of just filming .

i mean we brainstorm video ideas i mean relentlessly hours every day   um since i was 13 there probably hasn't been a single hour that's gone by that I've been awake   or i haven't thought about YouTube like that is pretty close to being accurate and i mean i just   literally wake up work go to bed if i work i mean like create videos or set up videos or think about   videos or perfect or study algorithm whatever it is that's basically just what i do so the first   characteristic we're talking about is mr beast relentless execution and his ethic to working hard   if you've been on this channel long enough you know those are one of my favorite topics to talk   about and well in this case you can see that jimmy sleeps and breathe YouTube he thinks about it he   constantly re-evaluates all other channels sees who is growing fast what do they do how   he can replicate their own success to improve his content and he outsources everything else that he   does not need to focus on so team management some logistical items hr and finance he has the well   trusted people around him who help him and support him on that journey and letting him focus on a   single goal these next two segments will sound very familiar if you've been on my channel long   enough because this is what jimmy says would it take you whether you're an artist a professional.

just an office job a student a creator on YouTube to be successful in whatever the profession or art   you pick it's not an inspiring story until you've succeeded exactly i know and so many people say   they want to do what i do but it's like do you really because i literally gave up my entire   teenage years before i was 13 until after i was 19 so my whole teenage years were grinding on   YouTube and then other people grind for a year or two years or even three years and then they don't   make it and they complain and it's like i mean you're just kind of scratching the surface you   know like you got to put in more hours and here's Mr. beast talking about how he celebrates his   major milestones.

i don't know one of the things i struggle with is I'm not really ever satisfied the   whole life has just kind of been a grind like when i hit 10 million subscribers like a minute later i   was kind of like cool i kind of want 40 million now you know the day i hit whatever any goal   it's like literally a minute later I'm like i just like all right i still want more   does it sound familiar well to those of you who are new to my content these two videos i speak at   length about the value of putting in the hours not focusing on being perfect and hitting it out of   the park every single time you have to put in the hours in whatever form of art or craft that you do   as well as once you hit certain milestones yeah pat yourself in the back a little bit but   don't overly celebrate there is yet another milestone yet another peak for you to climb   I'm like you I'm never satisfied this is one million dollars in cash second key characteristic   of mysteries that we're focusing on is work smarter not harder i prey on the altar of this   phrase of this philosophy whatever you would call it because we all have our personal lives we have   kids families we have other passions activities gym memberships whatever else maybe just favorite   tv show that's on the channel that you really want to enjoy but they all compete with your career   yet they don't have to it's all about how you break down and invest your time in this next   segment i like how he puts together his thought process around being very analytical spending   time thinking through every incremental single step whether it has an impact on the retention   of his viewers whether it has something to do with the quality of the videos that he produces   yeah and you had to work smarter not harder i mean some people i i say this analogy a lot but   since we're on the topic i think for most smaller channels like if they're pulling a thousand views   of video and they upload a video every day for a hundred days they'll pull a hundred thousand views   but i i would recommend you just think of a really good idea one that people genuinely wanna watch   put a lot of time into the video and you can pull 100 000 views in a week i know this approach will   not work for everyone but the core strength still remains you have to avoid the busy work .

i have 95 job this is one of the core principles that i have in my day to day because it's easy to   feel productive because you're doing something busy yet if you're just doing it for the sake   of doing it you're not progressing so if you're in a professional office environment entrepreneurial   environment you're a business owner do not do things that just make you feel like you're busy   do things that will help you stand out help your customers buy your product notice your product   help you stand out in the office environment and get that next promotion if you're a student think   about the project that you work on if you're an artist think about things that you can do in your   field that will help you stand out i practice what i preach when it comes to the creative side   of things i know i can swing a second video every week yet i religiously stick to that one video a   big schedule i relentlessly release those videos every single week for the past almost four years   and instead of trying to do the same thing over and over again i sneak in the small incremental   changes every few weeks and once i start looking back i notice all this progress you heard me talk   about this in past but this is what it takes avoid the busy work and work smarter not harder this is   one million dollars in cash final point i learned from jimmy aka mr beast diversify just recently he   opened a chain of ghost kitchens to produce his own burger it came out of nowhere and now he has   like 300 plus locations all over the united states and that is not all he has the merch store he has   other channels he produces different kind of content on he has brand partnerships and in   general little known fact he reinvests almost every single dollar that he makes back into his   team and into the content that he produces when we first started scaling up way smaller my mom and i   would fight all the time she thought i was crazy i would have like forty thousand dollars in my   bank account like finally after all these years we had a little bit of money i'm like i want to   spend basically like 90 of my money on a video my mom was like no no i'm like nah don't worry don't   worry whether you're entrepreneur you're an artist you're a business person this is the beauty of it   it the days of when we would used to work for the same company do the same exact thing for 25 years   straight build a career and then just chill with our newspaper in the couch well those days are   gone you have to continuously reinvent yourself and you have to diversify your skill set this   world is moving at the neck breaking pace and you have to keep up with it and it's not a rat race   some people get discouraged by it but ultimately it's all about you discovering your passions   consuming content like this learning what you really enjoy and then digging deeper and finding   out how you can better better and better yourself in that area this is one million dollars in cash   have you heard about Mr. beast before did you know this north Carolina kid spends millions of dollars   in instead of buying houses and cars for himself .

he buys it for other people and well what did you   learn for your own profession or your passion from Mr. beast and from this channel share your   thoughts and ideas in the section below it's great to start the year with video about Mr. beast he's a   kinder spirit i really appreciate a lot of things about him including his kindness and humbleness   and his work ethic and i wanted to introduce you to jimmy aka Mr. beast and well i know it's hard   right it's hard to look at someone like this and say yeah it's easy for him to say now that he has   millions of dollars and he can give away cars in the houses but the guy didn't start like that this   is one last segment i'll show you this is jimmy's time capsule to himself from a few years back   with some of the expectations that he had for future self what's up guys it's currently October   4th 2015. yes I'm probably like a freaking grown man when you see this I'm still in high school   right now if i don't have a million subscribers when you see this video my entire life has been   a failure i hope i have a million subs i better have a million subscribers when you guys see this even he did not anticipate the levels of success that he'll be able to reach and so can you you   just have to believe in yourself and you have to continuously invest and evolve yourself   well as they say overnight success is years and years in the making i know you can do it   go get it and well that's it for me hit that subscribe button hit that bell thank you for   stopping by and i'll see you next Saturday 10 a.m. eastern on this channel as promised i smell onion already it's cold okay i bought it yesterday because i knew I'm gonna be making this video today   and it it's a good it's a decent burger it's just not when it's called anyway i have nothing in my mouth in any case I'm sure you also notice some   renovations let's put it this way a little bit of redesign i do this annually   so every year i start with a new design just trying new things out and well   excited to start this year and be back on this channel a lot of content 50 something plus videos   for us to go to at least this year so it's going to be a fun one i'll see in the next one peace you
